Hi, my name is Meagan. I am a crazy dog mom to Max, a long haired Dachshund.

My love for dog bandanas came when my husband and I got Max. As soon as we got him, I knew that he had to have the best of everything! Of course I also wanted him to always look and feel his best, so I began searching for the perfect bandanas. When I couldn’t find exactly what I was looking for, I decided to give it a try to make my own. This is when Sassy Wags was born.

I told my grandma who loved to sew that I needed her to teach me what she knew. I grew up with her sewing my Halloween costumes, Easter outfits, family picture outfits matching my mom… she sewed it all! Some of my favorite memories are when I would play with the leftover fabric while she was working on one of my outfits. Since I had grown up around the sewing machine, I knew I would pick it right up and love hand crafting these bandanas.

I enjoy personally picking out the fabric and thread, not stopping until I find the perfect match!
